Our autumn and winter collection proves that even the warmest footwear can be anatomically correct. Every pair features characteristics that ensure healthy foot development even in freezing temperatures:
Anatomical Wide Toe Box: This is especially important in winter—when toes have room to move, circulation is stimulated, helping the child's feet stay naturally warmer for longer.
Full Flexibility: Even with thick insulation, these boots remain flexible. This allows the child to move safely through snow, ice, or uneven frozen surfaces while developing balance.
Zero-Drop Performance: A flat sole ensures stable weight distribution, which is critical for walking on slippery surfaces.
We have selected models featuring high-quality materials adapted to unpredictable autumn and winter weather:
Models like Snowfox, Puff, and Penguin offer not only stylish designs but also superior thermal insulation. Using natural wool or high-quality synthetic lining along with waterproof membranes ensures that feet stay dry and cozy.
Winter boots from the Czech manufacturer Beda are highly regarded for their "Tepor" membranes, which block moisture from entering while allowing the foot to breathe. They are a great choice for active kids who love trekking through the snow.
Winter Xero Shoes models are designed for those seeking maximum lightness. Their specialized tread patterns ensure excellent traction on wet or snowy ground.
In our autumn and winter footwear, we only use proven solutions:
Water-Resistant Leather and Textiles: High-quality materials that, combined with proper care (impregnation), guarantee long-lasting dryness.
Natural Wool and Quality Fleece: Insulation that traps heat without allowing the foot to overheat.
Specialized Winter Soles: These stay flexible even in sub-zero temperatures and provide enhanced grip.
Invest in your child's health and comfort with barefoot footwear that not only warms but also allows feet to develop correctly. Use the filters above to find the most suitable size, color, and insulation type for your child.
Care depends on the material of the shoe:
Smooth Leather: Clean with a damp cloth; once dry, apply natural wax or leather cream. This keeps the leather soft and flexible.
Nubuck and Suede: Use a specialized rubber brush to remove dirt. Do not apply creams to these materials – only use spray-on impregnators designed for suede/nubuck.
Textile (Kids' and Summer shoes): Clean off dirt with a dry brush or a damp sponge. Avoid soaking them in water.
Children's shoes face the toughest conditions at kindergarten and outdoors. The most important rule is regular impregnation. It creates a protective barrier that prevents dirt from soaking into the fabric, making the shoes much easier to clean. We also recommend airing them out daily and removing the insoles (if they are removable).
We generally advise against it. Even on a low-temperature cycle, machine washing can damage glue layers, deform the sole, or dry out the leather, causing it to crack. Barefoot shoes are valued for their flexibility, and aggressive washing can compromise this feature. Only machine wash if the manufacturer (e.g., specific Be Lenka or Xero Shoes models) explicitly states it is safe to do so. To ensure safety we recomend using washing bags.

“Due to pain caused by hallux valgus, I had to see an orthopaedic specialist, who referred me to a physiotherapist. She recommended barefoot footwear. I’ve been wearing them for two years now, and the pain has completely disappeared. I truly recommend giving them a try.”
